Will Wade continues to remake the LSU roster in his first year on the job.
The Tigers have landed a commitment from Oregon transfer center Kavell Bigby-Williams, who will sit out the 2017-18 season due to NCAA undergraduate transfer rules.

Bigby-Williams averaged three points and 2.8 rebounds in 10 minutes per game for the Ducks this past season.
Lovell’s Analysis:
Bigby-Williams is a 6-foot-11 big man with plenty of size and potential.
The former junior college Player of the Year couldn’t find a spot in Oregon’s rotation, but with Wade’s revamp of the LSU roster, he has a chance to be an impact player for the Tigers during the 2018-19 season.
LSU already lost one center on its current roster this week it was announced that Elbert Robinson III was leaving the team due to medical reasons.
It remains to be seen how LSU’s lineup will look heading into the ’18-19 season.
However, with Wade’s ability to recruit at a high level – as evidenced by his ability to land highly-touted point guard Tremont Waters – the Tigers are clearly stocking up on talent for the next several seasons.
And if Bigby-Williams can return to his JUCO form, he’ll be a big asset for this team in his one season on the court in Baton Rouge.
