Help could be on the way for Frank Martin and South Carolina after losing the trio of Sindarius Thornwell, P.J. Dozier, and Duane Notice this offseason.
According to Jon Rothstein of FanRag Sports, Southern Utah transfer guard Randy Onwuasor is set to visit Columbia on August 4.

Onwuasor earned Big Sky Newcomer of the Year honors last season in averaging 23.6 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.
His scoring average ranked fifth in the country.
Lovell’s Analysis:
Adding a player that averaged 24 points a game last season is never a bad thing.
Onwuasor would certainly make a dent in trying to fill the void left by the three aforementioned players that played a huge part in the Gamecocks’ Final Four run.
Martin has an intriguing squad already heading into the new season, with potential breakout players in the returning Chris Silva and Delaware transfer Kory Holden.
However, while it’s easy to see several weaknesses with this South Carolina team at the moment, adding a player of Onwuasor’s caliber would diminish several concerns.
