ESPN basketball insider Jeff Goodman has released the full list of SEC basketball secret scrimmages.
Former VCU coaches Will Wade (LSU) and Shaka Smart (Texas) will square off on November 4 in Houston, while Vanderbilt vs. Baylor will feature the brotherly battle of Bryce Drew vs. Scott Drew.
In addition to its hurricane relief exhibition with Kansas, Missouri will take on Missouri State and Wisconsin.
Arkansas and Kentucky are currently the only two SEC teams without a secret scrimmage at this point.

Lovell’s Analysis
It’s always great when the secret scrimmages become public knowledge.
Because then they aren’t so secret anymore, are they?
This list is full of intriguing games across the board.
In addition to the ones mentioned above, you’ve got matchups like Alabama vs. Baylor, Auburn vs. Georgia Tech, Georgia vs. Clemson, South Carolina vs. Virginia Tech, and Texas A&M vs. Gonzaga (that date should probably read 10/28 instead of 12/28).
These scrimmages are a good way for coaches to get a better feel for how far their team has come this offseason, especially considering that most will take place a few weeks or less before the start of official games.
And while we won’t see any official coverage of them, details on how each team looked will eventually start making the rounds.
