There have been plenty of interesting results thus far this week in SEC basketball, with several teams finding their way back into the NCAA Tournament picture by picking up crucial wins.
Meanwhile, a few teams saw their tournament hopes take a hit after home losses. But the good news is that there are still quite a few chances the rest of the way to earn quality victories.
Auburn continues to lead the pack in terms of SEC teams in the RPI, as the Tigers’ 20-2 start has them at No. 7.
Tennessee and Kentucky remain in the top 15 after opening the week with wins, while Texas A&M and Missouri both moved into the top 25 after impressive victories.
Here’s the full breakdown:
- Auburn – 7
- Tennessee – 12
- Kentucky – 13
- Arkansas – 29
- Texas A&M – 30
- Missouri – 35
- Alabama – 41
- Florida – 42
- Georgia – 55
- Mississippi State – 61
- South Carolina – 62
- LSU – 82
- Ole Miss – 85
- Vanderbilt – 126
And here is a look at the Saturday schedule around the league:
- South Carolina at Texas A&M – 2 PM EST
- No. 21 Kentucky at Missouri – 2 PM EST
- Arkansas at LSU – 3:30 PM EST
- Alabama at No. 23 Florida – 4 PM EST
- Georgia at Mississippi State – 6 PM EST
- Ole Miss at No. 18 Tennessee – 6 PM EST
- Vanderbilt at No. 11 Auburn – 8:30 PM EST
Seven SEC teams are currently projected to make the NCAA Tournament field, but with a lot of high-RPI wins still available, that number could certainly increase.
