SEC Bracketology: Alabama back on bubble in Lunardi’s Feb. 28 bracket

Tuesday’s loss to Florida has placed Alabama squarely on the bubble entering its final regular season game this weekend.

The Crimson Tide suffered a 73-52 defeat at the hands of the Gators, with Avery Johnson’s team shooting just 4 of 30 from the field in the first half.

Of course, that loss had a significant impact on the Tide’s NCAA Tournament chances, as ESPN bracketologist Joe Lunardi has dropped them down a No. 10 seed after a fourth-straight defeat.

Alabama is now the second team listed on the Last Four Byes line.

Florida stayed at a No. 6 seed, while Tennessee remained at a No. 3 seed after scoring a blowout win at Mississippi State.

Meanwhile, Auburn’s loss at Arkansas didn’t have a huge impact, with the Tigers staying on the 3-line.

The Razorbacks currently sit at a No. 7 seed and are on the rise after winning six of their last seven games.

Missouri stayed put on the 9-line with a road victory against Vanderbilt.
