Georgia expected to part ways with Mark Fox

It appears that Georgia is prepared to part ways with head coach Mark Fox.

According to ESPN’s Jeff Borzello, the Bulldogs will be looking for a new coach and have already begun the process of reaching out to potential candidates for the position.

Fox went 163-133 overall during his nine seasons with the program and finished with a 77-79 record in SEC play.

He led Georgia to two NCAA Tournament appearances and three NIT bids, with the team finishing above fourth only twice since the conference expanded to 14 teams.

The Bulldogs finished 18-15 overall this season after making a surprise run to the SEC Tournament quarterfinals as the league’s No. 12 seed.
