Middle Tennessee coach Kermit Davis will officially take over as the new head coach at Ole Miss.
The school will officially announce Davis at a 6:30 p.m. EST press conference on Monday.
It was reported by ESPN’s Jeff Goodman on Wednesday that Davis was the likely choice for the Rebels.

Davis guided Middle Tennessee to three straight 25+ win seasons, which included back-to-back NCAA Tournament wins.
The Mississippi native, who went to college at Mississippi State and later started his coaching career as an assistant at the school, was also an assistant at LSU from 1997-2002 prior to taking over in Murfreesboro.
Davis will replace Andy Kennedy, who parted ways with Ole Miss back in February.
The Rebels struggled to a 12-20 record this season.
