Wright State center Loudon Love led his team in scoring with 12 points and contributed nine rebounds. Everett Winchester added 11.
Tennessee led for all but three minutes and 29 seconds in the game and posted a 44-32 advantage in total rebounds.
Rick Barnes’ squad will advance to the second round on Saturday where they’ll meet the winner of the 6/11 matchup between Miami and Loyola-Chicago.
