Former Indiana coach Tom Crean is expected to be named the new head coach at Georgia.
According to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the two sides are currently finalizing a deal that would land Crean back on the sidelines after a stint as an analyst with the worldwide leader.

The news comes a day after former Ohio State head coach Thad Matta turned down an offer to becomes Georgia’s new coach.
Crean led Indiana to three Sweet 16 appearances and four NCAA Tournament appearances overall in his nine seasons at the school.
Prior to that, he led Marquette to five tournament appearances, which included a Final Four in 2003.
Georgia recently parted ways with Mark Fox, who spent nine years in Athens and finished with a 163-133 record at the school.
The Bulldogs went 18-15 this season and elected not to accept an invitation to play in the NIT.
