Tom Crean was officially announced as new head coach at Georgia in a Friday press conference.
Crean, who was serving as a college basketball analyst for ESPN, takes over after the school recently parted ways with Mark Fox.
Georgia struggled to an 18-15 record this season and missed the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in the past seven seasons.
Crean discussed his coaching philosophy and future plans during his introductory press conference in Athens.
