Case just finished up his 10th season with the Blue Raiders and has over 30 years of coaching experience.
As for Hamilton, this was his fourth season in Murfreesboro after joining Davis’ staff following two seasons at Houston. He was also an assistant at Tulane prior to that.
Middle Tennessee experienced unprecedented success over the past several years, with the Blue Raiders winning back-to-back games in the NCAA Tournament and capturing multiple Conference USA championships.
Davis and company led Middle Tennessee to 24 or more wins in six of the past seven seasons.
Ole Miss struggled to a 12-20 record this year, which led to the school parting ways with Andy Kennedy.
