Florida guard Jalen Hudson will declare for the 2018 NBA draft.

The junior will enter the draft process without an agent, which would allow him to return to Gainesville for his senior season should he choose to do so.

According to NBADraft.net, Hudson is projected as a late second-round pick in the draft.

Hudson averaged 15.5 points and 3.9 rebounds per game this season after transferring from Virginia Tech. He led the Gators in scoring while finishing eighth in the SEC in field-goal percentage and 11th in points per game.

Should Hudson remain in the draft, Florida would lose its top three scorers from this year.

Departing seniors Egor Koulechov (13.8 ppg) and Chris Chiozza (11.1 ppg) were the team’s second and third-leading scorers.

The Gators went 21-13 this season and lost to Texas Tech in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
