Auburn guard Davion Mitchell will reportedly transfer from the program.

The freshman, who is a former 4-star prospect, averaged 3.1 points and 1.9 assists while playing 17.1 minutes per game this season.

According to Justin Young of HoopSeen.com, Mitchell will be blocked from joining other SEC schools and any opponents on Auburn’s 2018-19 schedule.

Prior to committing to the Tigers back in 2015, Mitchell had received offers from schools such as Cincinnati, Florida, Georgia, Louisville, Memphis, and Tennessee.

Bruce Pearl will likely return the bulk of his rotation next year, as the Tigers had only one senior on the roster in Patrick Keim, who averaged just 1.6 minutes per game.

Auburn finished 26-8 this season and captured a share of the SEC regular season title.
