Arkansas has picked up a commitment from Connors State College guard Mason Jones.

He announced his decision via Twitter on Saturday.

Jones averaged 15.5 points and 6.9 rebounds per game this past season and shot 51.5 percent from the field and 42.9 percent from 3-point range.

He will join a new-look Arkansas backcourt, which loses several key contributors from this year’s team.

Daryl Macon, Jaylen Barford, and Anton Beard all graduate, while sophomore CJ Jones has already announced his decision to transfer.

According to 247Sports, Arkansas has the No. 25 recruiting class for 2018, which currently includes five guards.

The Razorbacks also have big man Daniel Gafford coming back after he opted to skip the NBA draft and return to Fayetteville for another season.
