Kentucky guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander has announced his decision to enter the 2018 NBA draft.
Gilgeous-Alexander will sign with an agent, which does not allow him to return to the Wildcats for another season.

The freshman averaged 14.4 points and team-high 5.1 assists per game this season. He also led the team in minutes in playing 33.7 minutes per contest while shooting a team-high 40.4 percent from beyond the arc.
According to NBADraft.net, Gilgeous-Alexander is currently projected as the No. 12 overall pick to the Los Angeles Clippers.
He is the second Kentucky player to enter the draft and sign with an agent, with fellow freshman Kevin Knox already declaring.
