LSU guard Brandon Sampson has declared for the 2018 NBA draft.
The junior will sign with an agent, which doesn’t allow him to return to the Tigers for another season.
Sampson averaged 7.7 points and shot 47.6 percent from the floor in 18.9 minutes per game this season.

He missed six games after injuring his ankle in the team’s November loss to Notre Dame at the Maui Invitational, but returned to action in late December against North Florida.
Sampson played a bigger role during his sophomore season, as he put up 11.6 points per game and played 27.5 minutes per contest.
LSU currently has the No. 5 class for 2018, with Will Wade and company already signing forwards Naz Reid and Darius Days, as well as combo guard Ja’Vonte Smart.
Five-star prospect Emmitt Williams also committed back in January.
The Tigers finished 18-15 in Wade’s first season in Baton Rouge and advanced to the second round of the NIT.
