Vanderbilt Basketball: Commodores offer 2019 center Tre Mitchell

Tre Mitchell, a top 100 player in the 2019 recruiting class, has picked up an offer from Vanderbilt.

The Woodstock Academy (CT) product announced the offer via Twitter on Monday.

Mitchell has also landed offers from Tennessee, Kansas State, Creighton, Georgia Tech, Seton Hall, and other high-major programs.

According to 247Sports, Mitchell is rated as the No. 100 player overall and the No. 19 center in the 2019 class.

The Commodores currently have no commitments for 2019, but do boast a top 10 class for 2018.

Bryce Drew and company have already landed 5-star prospects Darius Garland and Simi Shittu, as well as top 75 prospect Aaron Nesmith.

Vanderbilt is also considered to be one of the front-runners for top-five prospect Romeo Langford.
