The matchup next season will mark the first-ever meeting between the two teams.
The Bulldogs are coming off their fourth-straight trip to the NCAA Tournament, as they went 21-14 and advanced to the second round in LaVall Jordan’s first season as head coach.
Butler has now been to the tournament 10 of the last 12 years, with the program amassing at least 21 wins in all but one of those seasons.
Ole Miss head coach Kermit Davis most recently faced the Bulldogs in 2017 when he was still coaching at Middle Tennessee. Butler picked up a 74-65 win over Davis’ squad in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
The Rebels finished 12-20 overall this season.
