Kentucky guard Hamidou Diallo will sign with an agent and enter the 2018 NBA draft.

The freshman announced his decision via Twitter on Monday.

The New York native averaged 10.0 points and shot 42.8 percent from the floor in 24.8 minutes per game this past season.

According to NBADraft.net, Diallo is currently projected as the No. 45 overall pick to the Brooklyn Nets.

Diallo is the third Kentucky player to enter the draft process with an agent, as fellow freshmen Kevin Knox and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander are both headed to the NBA. The team has also lost Sacha Killeya-Jones and Tai Wynyard to transfer.

Despite their departures, John Calipari should have plenty of talent waiting to pick up the slack.

Kentucky currently boasts the No. 2 recruiting class in the nation for 2018, which is headlined by 5-star prospects EJ Montgomery, Keldon Johnson, and Immanuel Quickley.

The Wildcats went 26-11 overall this season and advanced to the Sweet 16 before losing to Kansas State.
