Cincinnati won the 2017 edition of the tournament by scoring a 78-53 victory over Wyoming in the championship game.
There should be plenty of competitive games at this year’s event, as Clemson, St. Bonaventure, and Georgia State are coming off NCAA Tournament appearances, while Boise State captured a 23-win season.
It was also announced recently that the Bulldogs would venture to Hawaii in a few seasons to participate in the 2019 Maui Invitational.
Georgia finished 18-15 overall this season, with the school choosing to part ways with former coach Mark Fox.
Crean was hired on March 15 after serving as a college basketball analyst for ESPN following his tenure at Indiana.
