Illinois graduate transfer Michael Finke will visit Vanderbilt next week.

According to FanRag Sports’ Jon Rothstein, Finke is set to visit Penn State this upcoming weekend, with Stanford, Nevada, and Grand Canyon all still in the mix.

Tim Finke, Michael’s younger brother, committed to Grand Canyon back in November.

The 6-10 forward averaged 9.8 points and 4.6 rebounds in 25.0 minutes per game for the Illini during the 2017-18 season.

Since he is a grad transfer, Finke will be eligible immediately and be able to play during the 2018-19 season.

Bryce Drew and company recent landed another transfer, as Syracuse forward Matthew Moyer announced his commitment to the Commodores on Thursday.

Vanderbilt currently has the No. 9 recruiting class in 2018, with 5-star prospects Darius Garland and Simi Shittu already signing their letter of intent. The school also remains in the mix for 5-star shooting guard Romeo Langford, who will announce his decision on April 30.

The Commodores finished 12-20 overall this season.
