Mississippi State has extended an offer to highly-coveted 2019 guard Marcus Watson.

The Bulldogs are the latest SEC team to join the mix, with the 4-star shooting guard already receiving offers from Georgia, Florida, LSU, and Ole Miss.

Watson received visits from Tennessee coach Rick Barnes and Georgia Tech coach Josh Pastner earlier this month, while new Georgia coach Tom Crean and Ohio State coach Chris Holtmann visited in late March.

According to 247Sports, Watson is rated as the No. 10 shooting guard and No. 94 overall prospect in the 2019 class.

Mississippi State also recently offered Moulaye Sissoko, a rising power forward in next year’s class.

Ben Howland has assembled a top-15 class for 2018, as he’s signed three 4-star players in Reggie Perry, Robert Woodard, and DJ Stewart. Jethro Tshisumpa, a 6-10 JUCO center, will also head to Starkville.

The Bulldogs finished 25-12 this past season and advanced to the NIT final four before losing to eventual champion Penn State.
