Tye Fagan, a 3-star guard in the 2018 recruiting class, has committed to Georgia.
The 6-3 combo guard received an official offer from Tom Crean and company on April 15 after announcing his de-commitment from Middle Tennessee in late March.
The Georgia native was headed to join the Blue Raiders until Kermit Davis left to take over at Ole Miss. Fagan received another offer from Davis on April 11.

According to 247Sports, Fagan is rated as the No. 10 prospect in Georgia and the No. 18 combo guard overall in the 2018 class.
He’s the first commitment for Crean, but the third prospect to join this year’s class as 4-star power forward Amanze Ngumezi and 3-star small forward JoJo Toppin have already signed with the school.
Crean must find a way to replace do-it-all forward Yante Maten, who was the team’s only player to average in double digits in scoring (19.3 ppg).
The Bulldogs finished 18-15 overall this past season, which led to the school’s decision to fire former coach Mark Fox after nine seasons in Athens.
