Mississippi State has joined the mix for 2019 forward Daniel Ramsey.
The 6-8 power forward received an offer from Ben Howland on Thursday, with Penn State adding an offer as well.
Ramsey has had interest from several other SEC schools, with the high junior visiting Georgia last year while also getting an offer from Tennessee.

According to 247Sports, Ramsey ranks as the No. 8 prospect in Georgia and No. 17 power forward in the 2019 class.
Howland will try to keep things rolling in Starkville after compiling a highly-talented 2018 group that currently ranks in the top 15 nationally.
Mississippi State will welcome in 4-star prospects Reggie Perry, Robert Woodard, and DJ Stewart, with 6-10 JUCO center Jethro Tshisumpa also headed to Starkville.
In addition to the newcomers, the team should return the bulk of its rotation after Quinndary Weatherspoon, Nick Weatherspoon, Lamar Peters, and Aric Holman all withdrew from the NBA draft.
The Bulldogs finished 25-12 this past season and advanced to the NIT final four before losing to eventual champion Penn State.
