Tennessee forward Admiral Schofield will withdraw from the 2018 NBA draft and return to Knoxville for his senior season.

Schofield was the team’s only player to declare early for the draft, but opted not to sign with an agent so that he could retain his college eligibility.

The 6-5 forward averaged 13.9 points and 6.4 rebounds during the 2017-18 season.

Schofield shot 44.7 percent from the floor and 39.5 percent from beyond the arc while finishing second on the team in minutes with 28.1 per game.

His return will give Rick Barnes his top six scorers back from a season ago, as Grant Williams, Lamonte Turner, Jordan Bowden, Jordan Bone, and Kyle Alexander are all back.

Williams was named SEC Player of the Year after averaging 15.2 points and 6.0 rebounds per game.

Tennessee only loses one player that played over 10 minutes per game, with point guard James Daniel (5.6 ppg) graduating after transferring over from Liberty.

The Vols finished 26-9 overall and were able to grab a share of the SEC regular season title before losing to eventual Final Four participant Loyola Chicago in the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
