According to 247Sports, Burns ranks as the No. 3 player in South Carolina and the No. 12 center in the 2018 class.
He is currently the team’s only commitment in this year’s class.
Burns will join an already loaded roster in Knoxville, with the Vols set to bring back their top six scorers from a season ago.
Among that returning core is reigning SEC Player of the Year in Grant Williams and versatile forward Admiral Schofield, who withdrew from the NBA draft earlier this week.
The Vols went 26-9 this past season and captured a share of the SEC regular season title before advancing to the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
