South Carolina has landed a commitment from George Washington transfer guard Jair Bolden.
The Brooklyn native announced his transfer from the program on April 6 after playing a huge role for the Colonials during the 2017-18 season.
Bolden averaged 11.2 points and 3.1 assists in 32.6 minutes per game.

Due to NCAA transfer rules, the 6-4 guard will be forced to sit out next season and have two years of eligibility remaining.
Bolden is one of several new faces to join the Gamecocks this offseason, as Frank Martin looks to get the program back to the top of the SEC standings.
South Carolina will benefit from the return of Chris Silva, who withdrew from the 2018 NBA draft after declaring without an agent.
However, the team does lose former 5-star prospect Brian Bowen after he chose to stay in the draft once the NCAA ruled that he would not yet be eligible to return to action.
The Gamecocks went 17-16 overall this past season.
