According to 247Sports, Watford ranks as the No. 3 power forward and No. 12 overall prospect in next year’s class.
The Birmingham native, who plays for Mountain Brook High School, has long been a priority target for the Crimson Tide, with head coach Avery Johnson most recent visiting on April 5.
Vanderbilt offered Watford on May 4, which came just weeks after the highly-coveted prospect received an offer from new Memphis head coach Penny Hardaway. Watford took an unofficial visit to the school on May 30.
Recent 247Sports recruiting projections have seen Memphis move in front as the favorite to land Watford, although it’s still unknown as to when he will make his decision.
