Rocket Watts, a 4-star guard in the 2019 recruiting class, has received an offer from LSU.

He announced the offer via Twitter on Monday, with Will Wade and company officially joining the mix for the 6-2 shooting guard.

Watts, who attends Old Redford Academy in Detroit, has been on the radar of many power conference teams around the country.

Michigan and Michigan State are two teams that have shown plenty of interest in himthroughout the process, while Oregon, Illinois, and Wake Forest are some of the recent schools that have become involved.

According to 247Sports, Watts ranks as the No. 2 player in Michigan and the No. 5 shooting guard in the 2019 class.

LSU currently has no commitments for next year, but Wade and his staff have compiled a top three recruiting class for 2018.

Wade will also return leading scorer Tremont Waters, who recently withdrew from the NBA draft process to return to Baton Rouge for his sophomore season.

The Tigers went 18-15 overall this past season and advanced to the second round of the NIT before losing to Utah.
