Jared Jones, a 3-star forward in the 2019 recruiting class, has picked up an offer from Mississippi State.
The 6-9 power forward had previously committed to Auburn, but reopened his recruiting in June of 2017.
Jones has additional SEC offers Arkansas, Florida, and Tennessee, as well other high-major schools such as Ohio Sate, Cincinnati, Clemson, and Minnesota.

He currently attends McEachern High School in Powder Springs, Ga.
According to 247Sports, Jones ranks as the No. 8 player in Georgia and the No. 32 power forward in the 2019 class.
Mississippi State has no commits for next year’s class as of right now.
The Bulldogs remain in the mix for several top talents, including 5-star forward Trendon Watford and 4-star guards Austin Crowley and Jaykwon Walton.
