LSU shooting guard Brandon Rachal will transfer from the program.

The 6-5 sophomore averaged 4.4 points and 3.3 rebounds in 15.9 minutes per game during the 2017-18 season.

He shot 53.3 percent from the floor and played more minutes than any other freshman on the roster.

Rachal, a top-100 recruit, was originally recruited by former LSU head coach Johnny Jones and committed to the program back in October of 2016.

The Tigers return leading scorer Tremont Waters this season while also adding the nation’s No. 4 recruiting class.
