Jalen Gaffney, a 3-star guard in the 2019 recruiting class, has narrowed his list of schools to six.
Florida is among the teams that are still in the mix for the 6-2 combo guard, with Clemson, Connecticut, Pittsburgh, St. John’s, and Xavier also in the running.
Gaffney is set for an official visit to Gainesville on Sept. 14.

According to 247Sports, he ranks as the No. 9 player in New Jersey and No. 27 combo guard in the 2019 class.
Florida currently has no commitments for next year, but will boast the nation’s No. 19 class entering this season.
