Alabama freshman Jared Butler, who was a part of the team’s 2018 class, has been granted his release and will join Baylor for the upcoming season.
Butler, a 6-2 point guard from Louisiana, was originally the highest-rated player in the Crimson Tide’s freshman class until 5-star point guard Kira Lewis chose to reclassify and immediately join the team.
Diante Wood and Javian Fleming are the other two players in Alabama’s freshman class.
