Jaykwon Walton, a 4-star guard in the 2019 class, has officially committed to Georgia.
The 6-6 shooting guard announced his decision on Monday, a week after choosing to de-commit from Mississippi State.
Walton originally revealed that he was verbally committed to Ben Howland and company back on Aug. 11.

According to 247Sports, he ranks as the No. 2 player in Alabama and the No. 7 shooting guard in the 2019 class.
He becomes Georgia’s first commitment in next year’s class.
Tom Crean also landed a commitment from 4-star point guard Kyle Sturdivant on Monday, but he has since backed off his pledge and will continue to weigh his options.
