Tennessee head coach Rick Barnes has received a new contract extension through the 2023-24 season.
The school announced the extension on Thursday after Barnes led the Vols to a 26-win season last year, which included earning a share of the SEC regular season title.
Based on the new deal, Barnes will become the SEC’s second-highest paid coach behind Kentucky’s John Calipari.
