James Wiseman, the nation’s top-ranked player in the 2019 recruiting class, will hold an in-home visit with Vanderbilt on Thursday.
The 7-0 center will welcome Bryce Drew and company for a visit, with his official visit to Nashville set for Oct. 14.
Vanderbilt is one of eight teams left in the mix, as Arizona, Florida State, Kansas, Kentucky, Memphis, North Carolina, and Texas were also included in Wiseman’s updated list in late July.

Memphis and Kentucky are widely considered to be the front-runners at this point in his recruitment.
The Commodores have already secured two 4-star prospects for next year’s class thanks to the additions of power forward Dylan Disu and shooting guard Austin Crowley.
