Auburn guard Samir Doughty will be sidelined for the next few weeks after suffering a high-ankle sprain.
Bruce Pearl announced the news at his press conference on Thursday, with the VCU transfer seemingly doubtful for the team’s season opener against South Alabama on Nov. 6.
Doughty sat out last season and figures to be a regular in the Auburn backcourt rotation.
