The Vols were fueled to victory by Admiral Schofield, who scored 25 of his career-high 30 points in the second half to give Tennessee a monumental win.
Reigning SEC player of the year Grant Williams filled the stat sheet with 16 points, 12 rebounds, and seven assists before fouling out of the game.
After coming up short in their game against Kansas several weeks ago, this was undoubtedly an excellent response from the Vols on such a huge stage.
Barnes, along with Schofield and Williams, met with the media following the win to discuss the huge moment for Tennessee basketball.
