After a fun first half of SEC play, there figures to be plenty of entertaining matchups down the stretch with teams around the league trying to improve their NCAA Tournament stock.
Of course, one of the metrics that will be used in the tournament selection process this year is the NET rankings, which have been rather kind to the SEC thus far this season.
Tennessee and Kentucky continue to stay ahead of the pack, but the conference is in great shape overall right now.
Here’s where all 14 teams stand in the newest NET rankings:
- No. 4 Tennessee
- No. 5 Kentucky
- No. 17 LSU
- No. 20 Auburn
- No. 28 Mississippi State
- No. 41 Ole Miss
- No. 43 Florida
- No. 45 Alabama
- No. 60 Arkansas
- No. 80 Missouri
- No. 99 Texas A&M
- No. 105 Georgia
- No. 106 South Carolina
- No. 115 Vanderbilt
Most bracket projections currently have eight SEC teams in the field, with Florida and Alabama seemingly right on the bubble.
