Seven SEC teams are in the 2019 NCAA Tournament field, as the league will try to continue to improve off a great regular season.
Alabama was the only projected bubble team from the conference to get left out of the tournament, with Avery Johnson’s squad struggling to find any sort of rhythm during the stretch run of the season.
Here’s the entire list of seeds and matchups for SEC teams:
EAST
- No. 5 Mississippi State vs. No. 12 Liberty (Friday at 7:15 p.m. EST, Salt Lake City)
- No. 3 LSU vs. No. 14 Yale (Thursday at 12:40 p.m. EST, Jacksonville)
WEST
- No. 7 Nevada vs. No. 10 Florida (Thursday at 6:45 p.m. EST, Des Moines)
SOUTH
- No. 8 Ole Miss vs. No. 9 Oklahoma (Friday at 12:40 p.m. EST, Columbia)
- No. 2 Tennessee vs. No. 15 Colgate (Friday at 2:30 p.m. EST, Columbus)
MIDWEST
- No. 5 Auburn vs. No. 12 New Mexico State (Thursday at 1:20 p.m. EST, Salt Lake City)
- No. 2 Kentucky vs. No. 15 Abilene Christian (Thursday at 7 p.m. EST, Jacksonville)
The SEC also landed two teams in the NIT, with Alabama set to host Norfolk State and Arkansas traveling to take on Providence.
