South Carolina has landed a commitment from 2019 3-star forward Jalyn McCreary.
The 6-8 power forward announced his decision via Twitter on Monday night, as he chose to stay in-state and play for Frank Martin and the Gamecocks.
McCreary took his official visit to the school over the weekend after also holding offers from DePaul, South Florida, and others.

He is rated as the No. 3 player in South Carolina and the No. 143 player overall in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.
McCreary the fourth player in the Gamecocks’ class, as Trae Hannibal (3-star SG), Wildens Leveque (3-star PF), and Trey Anderson (2-star SF) have all already signed.
