Kentucky forward P.J. Washington has announced that he will enter the 2019 NBA draft and sign with an agent.
Most expected Washington to stay in the draft a season ago, but he decided to return to Lexington for his sophomore season.
And Kentucky head coach John Calipari is likely excited that he did, as Washington continually proved to be the driving force for the Wildcats this season.
I will be entering my name into the 2019 NBA Draft and signing with an agent. Thank you BBN for all your love and support over the past two years. Once a wildcat, Always a wildcat ?✍?? pic.twitter.com/3x6n5RcHqZ

He averaged 15.2 points and 7.5 rebounds per game while shooting 52.2 percent from the floor, and that allowed him to lead Kentucky to an Elite Eight appearance before losing to fellow SEC foe Auburn.
Washington is projected as the No. 24 overall picking the draft, according to NBADraft.net.
Of course, retooling the roster is nothing new for Calipari, and he once again has a stellar recruiting class on the way in next season.
The Wildcats have also already landed a solid transfer in Nate Sestina, who averaged 15.8 points and 8.5 rebounds this season at Bucknell.
