Ole Miss has received a commitment from 2019 4-star guard Austin Crowley, who had previously committed to Vanderbilt.
The 6-6 shooting guard, who attends Sunrise Christian Academy (KS), was released from his letter of intent with the Commodores back on Mar. 23 after the school fired former head coach Bryce Drew.
Crowley is on his official visit to Oxford this weekend, and it appears that he quickly realized that the Rebels were the right fit for him.

He ranks as the top overall player in Kansas and the No. 69 player overall in the 2019 class, according to 247Sports.
The addition of Crowley gives Kermit Davis his fifth commit in the class, as four other players have already signed their letters of intent.
Rodney Howard (3-star C), Antavion Collum (3-star SF), Sammy Hunter (3-star PF), and Bryce Williams (JUCO SG) are all headed to Ole Miss and will hope to keep the program’s momentum going heading into next season.
The Rebels were picked to finish last in the SEC in the preseason, but that didn’t seem to bother them all that much as they advanced to the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2015.
