Kentucky is reportedly set to host Eastern Kentucky as part of its 2019-20 regular season schedule.
The Wildcats are coming off their sixth Elite Eight appearance in 10 seasons under head coach John Calipari, but they were unable to hold off fellow SEC foe Auburn in Kansas City.
Meanwhile, Eastern Kentucky has certainly been a program in transition since Jeff Neubauer left for Fordham back in 2015.

The Colonels went 13-18 this past season in what was A.W. Hamilton’s first year on the job, and the team has now had four straight losing seasons in what has become an increasingly competitive Ohio Valley Conference.
Kentucky has won all 11 previous meetings between the two schools, with Calipari’s squad winning 88-67 during the most recent matchup during the 2015-16 season.
Despite the usual roster turnover in Lexington, Calipari and company are set to bring in yet another dynamic recruiting class that includes a trio of 5-star talents in Kahlil Whitney, Tyrese Maxey, and Keion Brooks, and 4-star small forward Dontaie Allen.
The Wildcats also landed 6-9 Bucknell grad transfer Nate Sestina, who will offer plenty of production and experience in the frontcourt.
