Vanderbilt has made the final two schools for Brown grad transfer Desmond Cambridge, with Virginia Tech also still in the mix.

The 6-4 sophomore was also considering Stanford after deciding to pursue a transfer from Brown.

Cambridge is from Nashville, which could play a factor in which school he ultimately chooses.

He averaged 15.7 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this past season for the Bears.

Jerry Stackhouse and company would undoubtedly love to add an experienced player like Cambridge to the roster, as Vanderbilt will try to regroup following a winless season in SEC play.

Stackhouse has already put together a strong staff that includes former UCLA and Cal assistant David Grace, who should offer plenty of help when it comes to attracting top recruits around the country.

The Commodores will return two key contributors in Saben Lee and Aaron Nesmith, with Simi Shittu also potentially returning should he withdraw from the NBA draft process.
