South Carolina forward Felipe Haase will transfer from the program.
The 6-9 sophomore is the second player to transfer this offseason, with fellow sophomore Jason Cudd also leaving the team after redshirting.
With Chris Silva graduating, Haase likely would’ve played an even more prominent role next season as a potential regular starter in the frontcourt.
South Carolina rising junior forward Felipe Haase reportedly will put his name in the ever-growing NCAA transfer portal.

He averaged 6.3 points and 3.8 rebounds per game this past season while appearing in every contest.
Frank Martin and company had an interesting season, as South Carolina went 16-16 overall but rebounded to finish fourth in the SEC after struggling in non-conference play.
Given the overall competitiveness of the league, it may be a challenge for the team to take a step forward next season given the departure of Silva.
The Gamecocks have three players signed in the 2019 recruiting class and will also add 3-star power forward Jalyn McCreary to the mix.
