North Carolina transfer guard Seventh Woods has reportedly committed to South Carolina.
The 6-2 junior, who is a Columbia native and a former top 100 recruit, was also considering Gonzaga and Michigan.
Due to NCAA transfer rules, Woods will likely be forced to sit out the 2019-20 season unless he’s granted a waiver to play right away.
South Carolina has landed UNC transfer Seventh Woods, a source told @Stockrisers. Michigan and Gonzaga were also in the race. He’s already enrolled on campus.

He averaged 2.5 points and 2.1 assists per game this past season for the Tar Heels and will try to find a more expanded role on Frank Martin’s team.
The Gamecocks get several key contributors back next season, with Martin also bringing in a top 45 recruiting class.
