South Carolina head coach Frank Martin met with members of the media on Wednesday to discuss the offseason.
Martin is preparing to enter his eighth season in Columbia, and he’s certainly helped the program make strides in recent years.
He led the team to its first-ever Final Four appearance back in 2017, and enters next season hoping to improve upon their fourth-place finish in the SEC last season.
The Gamecocks will have to find a way to replace the production of do-it-all center Chris Silva, who was the most impactful player on both sides of the court.
Martin talked about that and more in his summer press conference, where he discussed his expectations for the returners and newcomers on the roster.
