Former Ole Miss basketball guard Terence Davis has reportedly signed a two-year deal with the Toronto Raptors.
Davis, who turned down two-way contracts during the 2019 NBA Draft and ultimately went unselected, may have made the right decision given his new deal.
With the two-year contract with the Raptors, the 6-5 shooting guard is set to get a full guarantee in his first year, according to Shams Charania of The Athletic.

Davis averaged 15.2 points and 5.8 rebounds during his senior season while earning Second Team All-SEC honors.
He played a key role in Kermit Davis’ first season in Oxford, with the Rebels capturing their first NCAA Tournament bid since 2015.
Lovell’s Analysis
It’s no secret that Terence Davis has been one of my favorites in recent years, as he worked hard to develop his game each season.
He had many impressive performances during the NBA draft process, and that led some to believe that he could potentially emerge as a first round pick.
However, he chose to bet on himself when offered a two-way contract, which meant going undrafted and having to prove himself again in the NBA Summer League.
Davis did just that by scoring 22 points in his Summer League debut with the Denver Nuggets.

Now, he has a contract with the reigning NBA champs.
And it’s one that he’s certainly earned.
