The 6-3 combo guard will head to Tuscaloosa in September, and he continues to a top priority for Nate Oats and his staff on the recruiting trail.
Burnett holds other SEC offers from Arkansas, Auburn, Texas A&M, and Vanderbilt.

He’s rated as the No. 5 combo guard and No. 23 player overall in the 2020 class, according to 247Sports.
The Crimson Tide secured a top 20 class for this season, with several of the incoming freshman expected to factor into the rotation.
Lovell’s Analysis
Burnett is certainly a player who would thrive in Oats’ up-tempo system.
His ability to make plays both on and off the ball would be very valuable in Alabama’s new style of play, so it’s easy to understand why he’s been a main target for Oats.
Of course, there are plenty of other schools who feel the same about Burnett’s versatility.
But it’s clear that Oats is going after some of the nation’s best prospects, and the staff obviously thinks Burnett would be a perfect fit.
